Saturday night was full of fun and excitement in the NHL skills competition. Two plays from the skills competition particularly stood out to me and probably many viewers as well: Patrick "Superman" Kane has a nasty dangles and some clever stricks up his sleeve to win the Breakaway Challenge, and Zdeno "Big Z" Chara sets yet another record in the Hardest Shot Competition. It's clear that Chara's hardest shot will stand-out the most in the long run since he out-shot his previous record from 2011 by 3 mph! On Sunday Night, the stars hit the ice face to face in the main event of the weekend: The NHL All-Star Game. It was back and forth for the first two periods, but Team Chara took it away in the third to beat Team Alfredsson 12-9. Here are some highlights from the game:
